I don't want to hang out with friends?

About 3 months ago the group I hung out with separated, we did everything together, hang out at the mall, drive around doing stupid things, movies, etc. Since then I have friends I can hang out with but I'm not comfortable hangin out with them and usually make an excuse to avoid going out with them. Before also whenever I was bored I would play games with friends online but since the group split everyone is doing their own thing with other friends. Basically I need a time waster and advice if this behaviour is normal.
