Am I crazy or do I see transverse waves in my guitar string?

Guitar strings produce longitude waves only but i see transverse waves in it!! Its like perfect pitch but its eyes instead of ears! I know I am not hallucinating because Ive been sleeping and I just noticed but its been probably goin on my whole life! Is it genetic mutations? Is it only me?
