How do you go about selling a house in a recession?if you have no money to move or put down on a house and?

need to sell first?I want to sell but i don't want to go through an estate agent how can i do it by myself?the problem is i have a lot of furniture and stuff i am in britain and want to move to australia.so i would be depending on money from a sale to make the move,however i wanted to get out first clear everything out and fix it up a bit then sell as the ideas of nosy people coming to look at your house just to get a look i mean the time wasters who have no interest in buying,you cant really be comfortable as they will always be expecting a show house and you wouldn't have any privacy in your own home,any ideas on how i can go about this effectively trying to sell a house in a recession,i know banks wont lend money but i see on the internet houses are selling all the time even expensive ones,and in nyc jennifer aniston just ourchased a 10 million apartment,i know exclusive places will always sell to those with money but how can an average house sell?,so how can you market effectively to prospect buyers,i just really am unhappy where i am and want to move thanks for your help
