Why is Scotland trying to have independence?
Scottish people don't want independence. The polls show that people are in favor of a referendum on independence but that does not mean they will vote yes to it. It would just be nice to be granted the right to decide whether we want to or not. The SNP victory on thursday does not mean that Scotland want independence, it is more likely that the SNP won by a landslide due to a combination of fed up liberal democrat/ labour supporters voting for them instead plus others seeing how well the SNP did in a minority government for the past 4 years. They may not want independence but the SNP have done a good job in government which gives them every right to a 2nd term in Holyrood.
