Is Culinary school or any other school that will get me the degree worth it?

If you want to own your own restaurant and you have a passion for cooking, the only thing a degree will do for you is give you a better understanding of the career. You can do anything you want really with any degree you get, the culinary degree will just help prepare you to be professional and maybe think more out of the box. I was a chef for four years and I find myself constantly going to this blog a href="http://culinary.it-colleges.edu/culinary-arts-blog" rel="nofollow"http://culinary.it-colleges.edu/culinary…/a for up to date culinary information. I did NOT go to this institute, however I have heard great things. This may not work for you since you are in Kentucky, however I feel that it can connect you to more insight and ideas on what you can do with the degree. I would not trust answers that are not your own, so do some research and check out some schools and blogs. Just remember, if you have a job you love, you will never work a day in your life. So get out there and start not working.
