If you bleed for five days after losing your virginity can you still get pregnant?

I lost my virginity last week, and bled constantly for five days after; we used a condom throughout most of the intercourse. But, I heard, if you bleed after losing your virginity (which is normal), you cannot become pregnant is this true? I have too heard so many different stories on this subject I am too worried as my period too was due the same week, is this (bleed) likely to be my period or due to losing my virginity? Or, even if this bleed, was my period could I still get pregnant? Please, only serious answers, and no time wasters. Does the bleeding stop/prevent pregnancy? Thanks.
